Will be a lot more than enough that. 6 more points will more than likely keep us up. The rest will be bonus pints.

Notwithstanding our injury list only twice since Christmas have we been s*** for large parts of a match, against Everton and against the Arse. OTOH Southampton managed to get spanked by Wet Spam and have looked s*** for weeks. So have Stoke, but they didn't do too badly against the Arse yesterday until they conceded a penalty and went to pot. West Brom are obviously toast. Can't see Huddersfield winning much between now and the end either. They haven't scored since 24 February and that was against West Brom. All they can do against even half-decent sides is park the bus and clench their arses. Bournemouth are another filthy agricultural lot and it would be nice to see the smile wiped off that smug git Howe's face with a relegation but it ain't going to happen now. But even losing by the odd goal those performances should give us some confidence and momentum and we should be able to hand him his arse on a plate next week. Their defending is generally a shambles. Defoe can get something if he gets the chance to break but if we play with pace and agression but stay sensible at the back that won't be enough. Edited by chateauferret (02 Apr 2018 2.03pm) If Tomkins is back then him and Sakho should be able to keep Bournemouth's attack quiet. Actually they should be able to keep all of our opponents attacks quiet in the last 6 games really.

6 games to go, 2 wins 2 draws and 2 defeats, total 38 points, I'm sure that would keep us up.

I worry about the west Bromwich game they will have nothing to play for and if we need points it could be a very awkward afternoon hopefully it's done and dusted by then now pardew has gone they'll probably start playing better
