I don't see a place for RLC in the starting line-up as his defensive skills are not great however he would be very useful coming on late as a potential game changer. If Tomkins is fit then it's a 2-1 or 2-0 to us and if not a scrappy 1-0. Even if it's a draw then that's another point towards the 35 or 36 that we need to stay up. KTF
Enjoying getting up later and not having someone who knows better than me (apart from the missus of course). |

I know people may jump down my throat for this, but if we win this one, we will almost definitely be safe. 33 points with our remaining 5 fixtures against teams where we would be expected to pick up points. Would really mean a win and a draw from them would probably leave us safe (and yes, I know that's 37 points, but we're starting to look good on goal diff now). If we lose, we will have to get 3 points at Watford and/or Leicester. So, I'm going to predict a draw. We'll be disappointed, but not overly.

Since 1975 in league games, we have played them 10 times. We have won 4 lost 3 drawn 3 Those stats suggest this will be a tight game but, you know, I think we've been playing really well lately against some class teams and as long as we show the same application on Saturday, I really do think we'll win. 0-2 Palace

With the remaining 6 matches left the corresponding matches in the first half of the season we gained 12 points, if we got half that number feel safe with that.

I think this is a bananaskin for us - if Bournemouth win that will likely be enough to keep them up - we have more games even if we lose - which I think we will - 2-1 to Bournemouth but I hope to eat much humble pie
