Just looking at next weekend and there is a really key fixture
West Ham v Southampton
Both teams are in serious trouble but only Southampton fans seem to be aware. The Spam forum seems oblivious, they're talking about next season's signings.
If Spam lose which seems highly possible to me then they have a pile of tricky fixtures Manure, Chelski, Citeh, Arse with only Stoke, Leicester and Everton on the easier list.

Stoke have Arse so will be lucky to get anything.
Newcastle v Huddersfield, based on the Huddersfield performance at the weekend I would expect Rafa to win.
Swansea have Manure, tricky to get anything at Old Trafford.

I can see West Ham dropping into the bottom 3 on goal difference. Hopefully we can get a fighting point against Pool.

Its tight.

Difficult to predict the WH vs Southampton result. WH just seem flakey and Southampton can't score. I suppose a draw is best for us. Arsenal should beat Stoke at home as should Man Utd with Swansea at home. Like you I expect Newcastle to beat Huddersfield. If we can nick a point though and the other results go this way we could move up to 14th with Swansea (depending on how many Utd score), Huddersfield and West Ham below us and the bottom three remaining as they are.

As fans we were well aware of how important the Huddersfield game was. To me West Ham fans don't have the same mentality. I wonder if they will turn on the team if Saints get an early goal.

As for Palace, I think we might sneak a point but really aren't we focused on Bournemouth. Bournemouth have Watford before us, both have had a bit of a up and down season. Bournemouth certainly darlings of the media have a couple of tough games ahead of them. The ref owes us one there.

Parrot

Forget about the ref Tekkers owe us a match winning performance if he plays. In relation to the Spammers they have 5 homes games and 3 away I think due to the athletics earlier in the season. For most teams this would be a benefit but in their current climate could well be a huge disadvantage. As already mentioned how this situation pans out is difficult to see. Any points Saturday will be a huge bonus. Just hope we have a right old go, which I'm sure we will. COYP !!

Forget the others it will be down to how we perform in our remaining games. Irrespective of what other teams do if we get another 9 points we should be safe. If we cannot get the points required regretfully we will get relegated. Of course that is not going to happen. COYP

This is the part of the season where a dip in form could be terminal... Southampton vs West Ham trully is the key match this week.

There are a couple of games over the next few weeks that look tasty as hell, Brighton vs Huddersfield could be vital (if Brighton lose it, they will need to beat either us or any of the top 4 in their last 5 games for safety!)

If we could get something out of Liverpool we will have huge margins for error. This week is going to be fascinating...

I think there are positives from any result. A draw keeps both worried agreed but I think a Saints win favours us more. Saints have really tough games after. WH is all about momentum and the crowd, if they lose then anything can happen including a riot and the fallout. Its toxic and Saints could really do some big damage.

I want Brighton to win, I want the bully boy hackers of Huddersfield to go down. I'm also hoping that for the Brighton and Watford matches the opposition will be relatively safe.

Well that was a draw wasn't it; we drew all of the last three games that season. It all depends on us not losing to Liverpool; if we do then whatever the result in the West Ham v Southampton game, one of them will go above us.

I think that the managerial change will help Saints. Hughes is a motivator and whilst i feel that he is not a great manager (Stoke proved that) he can and will get a reaction short term from players. So I think Soton will win. I think West Ham may well get relegated but I have a hunch Huddersfield will take up 3rd spot possibly on Goal difference to Spammers. I think we will draw Saturday inching us away from relegation area

Well Dave it's called momentum!!! You surely can not have missed all the people talking us down already but even Willo, the doom preaching vicar of relagation, is lying low for now. Let us enjoy a win and a position out of the drop zone for now. I think most of us are well aware the job is not yet done.
