John Jackson in goal - by a mile.

Bobby Woodruff, Alan Stephenson also contenders.

Alan played for the Under 23s when it meant something.
Not sure on Bobby.
England long throw team definitely.

Doris played for the U21. Pretty sure saw him a Selhurst for an U21 international ???? Armstrong received a call up to the England squad by Kevin Keegan to play Poland, but was never capped for the senior side, but think he played U21s as well

Have only picked players from late seventies onwards as that's when I started watching.

Sure you are all correct regarding Jackson.

Disagree about Kember for Madden though. Dave Madden was the best player I have ever seen at Selhurst. Have never seen a player have so much impact and change a season like he did in 89.

More than AJ ? 21 league goals in a relegated team, that’s never been bettered.
I know he scored a lot of penalties, but he won most of them.
Unplayable that season.

He played for England U21s,injured early on at Spurs then could not replace Lennon.
Has had a very good career otherwise.

Don Rogers -

Never played for England, only in a Football League match when he scored the winner, as far as I know.

Let's keep the ball this season!

He would be disappointed to be behind Bruce ( head down fun blindly ) Dyer in a posters selection.
