And Qatar. As much as a protest against FIFA than anything. Keep the team at home to volunteer with poor kids.

One thought is for England to boycott World Cup if allied countries join in e.g. the omission of France; Germany and Australia would really embarrass both corrupt Russia & FIFA. Scope for min-tournament that could then be played at same time as World Cup. Alternatively bring back the Home tournament - Scotland; England; Wales ; Rep. & Northern Ireland

Yes we should boycott the world cup to show Russia we are no pushover. You can't allegedly poison people in the uk and get away with it. It's time to put the boot into Putin.

Regardless of what has happened recently, i have no interest in the world cup, fifa corrupt, russia corrupt, the game at the top is corrupt, as for England sadly not a chance in hell, as long as palace survive, i shall just have a nice summer free of football, look forward to next season

No. I see no appetite from any other countries to boycott so we would be cutting off our own noses. Additionally FIFA would suspend our membership ( governments not allowed to interfere with the FA) which would impact all levels of football. I suppose the Premier League could say who cares but UEAFA would probably follow suit so no European club football. Better to hit his Russian mates in the pocket.

No, we should still participate in the WC. Are Russia any more corrupt than previous WC hosts?
It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses. |

Certainly not. I appreciate it now makes Englands task all the harder but no way should sport be used as a political football

More questions than answers Edited by LennyEagle (22 Mar 2018 9.01am) Very true...and with idiots such as Boris in the Foreign office we're in danger of painting ourselves into a corner rather than ensuring that Russia provide answers against the charges....having said that they're not helping themselves by 'deflecting' everything with the tired "Russiaphobic" stance...they're only kidding themselves that everythings rosey...no one else. Just answer the questions so we can all move on...
