Contrary to popular opinion, I reckon he might well have proved a success if given 10 games. Obviously we couldn't really afford to give him that...and I love Roy and the job he's done....but FDB is right....we were staaaarting to come good and play well under him right before he got the flick.

I think that we did show signs of improvement in the Burnley game and if we had got the result the performance merited, then who knows how the season would have turned out. However, it's his character I question. Maybe some of the players did run and tell tales, I don't know but some of the comments he has made since leaving show me that the guy is a bit of a knoob. It's no wonder that he would upset players at the club who should really be "squad players", if not for the fact the the team is so light. From what I have seen him quoted as saying, he appears to be a very divisive person. His speculative comments on Zaha, Rashford, etc, may actually be true, who knows but he seems to me to have the ability to wind people up each time he opens his mouth. Great if that's the opposition, not so great if that's the players you need the respect of.

Blimey, he is not exactly doing himself any favours is he. Any club thinking of taking a punt him , would be completely turned off by his comments and attitude. If he does get another posting the pressure will be well and truly cranked up. Someone needs to tell him to button it...

I was embarrassed as a Palace supporter when we sacked him so quickly into the season. I would also expect that Frank make some sort of statement. I don't know about Steve Parish "appearing" to leak reasons but I did listen to two interviews where he spoke broadly about the decision to end Franks time with the club. There were no personal attacks on him and I wouldn't have been impressed if Steve Parish had come out and said anything disrespectful to an outgoing manager. I don't think, Parish or anyone at the club showed a lack of class in talking about the situation. I do think that commenting on Zaha not being at the club beyond the summer or saying that if Rashford had been an Ajax player then he would be treated differently or there were backstabbers at Palace in the team, does show a lack of class, even if his speculation does turn out to be factually correct. That's just my opinion. Roy is constantly asked about The England squad and other teams players. His reply is always that it would not be appropriate for him to comment.. Class..

Well, yes it is. Hol'ers aren't managers. This is a football forum, where it is more than appropriate to comment on all things football and otherwise.

In your role of mod, I would expect a more responsible post, don't just believe what you read on Google. Unless you actually hear it from him, its probably been made up. I have heard FDB speak bollo-ks, as Mourino highlighted last week.
