Would swap Sakho for Kelly but agree on everything else.

Cabaye on for Loftus when he starts to tire after an hour or so.

If we add to this a three week break after this match, then we have just about our best team available for the last 6or 7 matches. Decent chance Then of picking up the ten points or so We need

---------------Hennessey--------------

AWB--------Kelly----Tomkins--------PVA

----------McArthur--Milivojevic-------

Townsend---------zaha-------------schlupp

---------------benteke----------------

Personally think this might be the starting line up. With roy hoping subbing benteke ladt week might get a reaction from him. Strong bench with cabaye, RLC and Sakho coming on at some point.

I would go for that team except I would drop Kelly

Huddersfield damaged Wilf the first game of the season. Not sure if Wilf is ready to play 90 minutes just yet. I would play Cabaye until half-time and bring Wilf on for the econd half against a tiring defence.

Surely Sakho is ready to play, players like him will be important against a team like Huddersfield.

If Benteke gets dropped and Wilf is played from the start I'd rather go without a central forward and leave Sorloth out. Playing Wilf and Townsend as the 2 most forward players has served us well earlier in the season. I am biased having seen Sorloth play and fail here in the Holland, but don't think he has the quality and fear it will be money wasted. Happy to be proved wrong!

Agreed about Wilf, see the other thread about the inevitable. Let him play in the 2nd half.

I think that Roy will stick with Hennessy despite misgivings but may well drop Benteke to the bench having now subbed him once. RLC is probably not ready to return for a full game just yet but Cabaye, Wilf and Sakho are. So:

--------------Hennessey--------------

AWB--------Sakho----Tomkins--------PVA

McArthur------Milivojevic-------Schlupp

Townsend---------Sorloth-------------Zaha

Bench: Cabaye, RLC, Cavalieri, Benteke, TFM, Reidewald, Lee

With Wickham also getting game time with the U23's Roy will hopefully have some selection headaches soon.

It should be this

--------------Hennessey--------------

AWB--------Sakho----Tomkins--------PVA

McArthur------Milivojevic-------Schlupp

Townsend---------Sorloth-------------Zaha

But doesn't Roy love a 442?

Huddersfield seem to favour a 4-2-3-1 which may favour us in a more attacking formation that can overrun their midfield. Us in a 4-4-2 seems a bit too cautious for this one given that they will have a back four screened by a further 2. The two up top for us in a 4-4-2 may not get much in return?

Someone has just pointed out on twitter that James Tomkins picked up his fifth yellow card against Chelsea therefore being ineligible to play this weekend due to a one match ban . Anyone know if this is true ?
