Well they are but they've made a couple of bad decisions. I bet when they go off the rails they're back on them quicker than we could ever dream of in the near future or Parish is qualified to prepare for.

Maybe but both Swansea and Southampton, clubs that have previously been held up as model clubs who were well established in the PL, are now struggling following a series of poor decisions.

Personally I think it shows how fragile PL status now is and that maybe it isn't quite as easy as as some would like to think. In fact think it is incredibly easy now to come up short as a chairman.

the dignified don't even enter in the game

There's making mistakes and there's having 1 player for certain positions, and not just the once. And before anyone gives Everton as another blunder, they have several players who can score goals.

Parish is a great chairman, but not at making calls on football.

Just been looking at the BBC sport section and they are discussing potential new managers...

They are all pushing for young managers and talking about how they need a quality striker for next season. Not one of them is talking about the very real danger they are in right now, they are just discussing how to improve in the summer.

It feels like the first time Newcastle went down, even 10 matches before the end of the season they were talking about what players they were going to buy next season and just refused to believe they wernt going to go down.

I think Southampton are very likely to go down unless the new manager turns things round fast and dont have the luxury of discussing taking chances with young managers...

The same as on here then really....
