I doubt most of them even know what's going on in their own street!
Some people are like Slinkies … not really good for anything, but you can’t help smiling when you see one tumble down the stairs. |

The Americans have no known affinity with Palace and it is unlikely that they would have made their original investment if Palace were in the Championship.

I think your on the right track. HOL is full of stuff made up by posters with little proof or foundation of truth. That doesn't stop them trying to convince people they know everything that goes on inside Palace. me?

The problem with the Americans is they are investors only this was a poor desperate move from SP another mistake to add to his cv (if they had been proper owners you would of seen lot more presence in US and owners lining us up with more sponsorship deals) THats buuls*** grumpy. Check it out at companies house. They paid £50M for their shares that went straight into the pockets of the other shareholders,.

If you mean me, here is my logic (and I never once said they spunked anything): Parish was abundantly clear that the Americans drove the Benteke purchase and that he himself struggled with their thinking. (He didn't blame them, he merely reported the process and said it was a departure for him with where Palace had come from). Now, if he found 30m on a (at the time still-well-regarded) striker hard to fathom, why would he suddenly be leading the charge for a 25m defender with a questionable injury record? I think the Americans saw the difference Sakho made and thought 'yeah, let's have some of that'. It is purely speculative and my opinion (about Sakho, not Benteke - which I think was patently an Americans' signing). This said, I too believe they ring fenced investment for the stadium and that it's still there. I reckon it was a precondition of their involvement. Why waste our time and yours writing this rubbish No substance at all COYP

01CPFC there is loads of substance to the fact Benteke was a Harris/US signing. The speculative part is Sakho. But with 3 major shareholders why assume Parish led the decision to get him? Especially when the profile is very much like Benteke-- a very expensive signing from a top club that doesn't fit our previous activity. And learn some basic manners. Thanks for the link GPW. Gives us a bit more insight into how the shareholders operate. I do wonder if the American shareholders really understand Soccer-ball, . . .

Unless SP bought a lot of those shares, that means the Americans have a majority shareholding ? Check the link, because SP is quoted in it
