Well I think its a safe bet to suggest that Roy is a little peeved off with the whole situation at the very least. Simple fact is he's been let down on recruitment. The no subs thing, I know he made one sunday, not playing either of Jach or Rakip it all adds up in my opinion. I think he will leave whether we stay up or go down.

I think the lack of subs is him protesting against the current limitations to the squad. I reckon he said he is not willing to replace anyone in case they get injured.

I really dont think that it is any 'Protest'.Hodgson will do what is best for the team. Just a case of him not believing that any changes would be beneficial !

Anything other then this ^^ would be utterly unprofessional and I do not see Roy in the spoilt youngster, toys out the pram brigade.

So do you think that was a protest substitution or do you think Roy's decision making is a little awry? 9 minutes of playing time left and you need to try and hold out for a point. Your best defender on the day is stricken with cramp, what do you do. Put a player who doesn't normally play centre half in or move a youngster back into that position, or put on a guy with years of experience? I agree that Damo is way past it, but you can see why Roy did it. As for the new guy not being on the bench, he is probably not up to prem standard yet, but centre half was not really a position we were desperately struggling with until the recent spate of injuries. I also agree though that it kind of begs the question why we signed him in the first place.

And therein lies the problem, we never seem to be prepared, the transfer window almost seems to take us by surprise every time. I have very little confidence we'll do things any different no matter who we have in charge. I'd love Roy to stay at least another year, imagine what he could achieve if he was actually backed financially and didn't have the horrific injury list. Unfortunately for reasons best known to the hierachy he wasn't backed when he needed it the most. I would love Roy to stay for another season regardless of which league, but could see him walking if we are relegated this season.

I think Roy is the complete professional and has seen it all before (including message board guesswork).
We move in the direction of our thoughts. |

oh yeah ,fcuk off brighton. |

The players are giving there all for him. His last experience in management the pampered England team hung him out to dry, with a distinct lack of effort and application, whilst he took all the media flack.
