Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!! |

Who Dares Wins SAS Ant Middleton's son plays in the same youth football team as my son. Met and chatted to him a couple of times at training and games. Ex Palace player Len Tomkins lives near me and I worked with him for awhile. Often bump into him and have a chat. My son is well impressed. Played for Palace and over 500 times for Chelmsford City.

Mine has on various occasions trained at Albion Rovers' boys' football "camps" and whenever we go there's always someone called Bannan. Barry Bannan of course obtained a trial there when he was a ball boy and his family still stays in Coatbridge.

bumped into John Cleese up at tottenham court road tube station. Amazing how all the teeming public streaming past either didnt recognise him or feigned disinterest. I didnt wish to bother him at the time, but its mad to think a fella that famous was seemingly anonymous.

Kind of... One of my very very good mates is starting to become 'famous' if that's the right word. His name is Tom Davis. He's a comedian/actor. Great big f***er as he's 6'8. He's been in things The Keith Lemon Show, Plebs and has had 2 series of his own show called Murder in Successville on BBC. We went through playschool, first, middle and secondary school together and grew up 8 houses apart. Still firm friends with him now. Seeing both his appearances on Friday night chat shows, The One Show and The Last Leg he's clearly quick and witty and has a warm and likeable personality that'll serve him well. Funny when he said to Vicky on The One Show that the rail passenger asleep in the overhead luggage rail might've been the driver after they moved onto the next subject and his mic was still on. Just wish people in general dropped the 'literally' and 'like' everywhere. Maybe a bit of nerves even though he's a big relaxed dude but he can do better than 'literally' and 'like.' Good luck to him. Is he Palace or big 6?
