I booked 2 flights to Uk to watch palace Manutd 3rd March, and booked a no-cancel room at the Croydon Park. Next day game is changed to 5th March. I had to re-book room and flights. I lost £360.

Can I get any of this back?. No effing way. Oh well that goes the yearly holiday, but at least I get to watch the Palace

I blame spurs myself, fancy not being able to beat little Rotherham after being 2-1 up with a couple of minutes to go.....useless

This.

And I'm sorry to all the fans that can't make it but if you want any small silver lining I'd say it might be better and less pressure on the team to be Noon on Sunday.

I could be wrong but I think it's now more unlikely we'll be in the relegation zone by kick off. It was looking like all the Weekends fixtures would play out, we'd be back in the zone and at 7:45pm on Monday the fans would be royally fed up and the players very nervous. Hopefully this isn't the case now.

Unfortunately, there are too many tourists and plastics in the PL for there to be some sort of consistent and continuous backing for the things like before.

A walk out would be great, but it'd have to be an unimportant game for me, but I'd still feel awful for not being there supporting the team. I like the tennis ball idea and halting the game like that.

Probably best done as they line up to kick off- like 5 seconds before the whistle - would really b*gger up their programme schedule timing if they had to delay the k.o. by 7-10 minutes whilst the pitch was cleared........

Whilst I agree - 95% of the clubs revenue comes from TV. Unless we all stop paying the high monthly fees for sky...i wouldn’t expect it to change any time soon. Saw that a live game is now worth 9.3m per game. When a TV company is paying that, I don’t think they give two hoots about the poor guy is paying £300 to change a flight (no offence to the ealier poster).

We went to Liverpool on a stag do last year. Booked trains, accommodation...everything and then it gets moved to a Sunday 4pm. I was fuming...but not that annoyed that I returned home and cancelled my £80.00 a month Sky fee.

Have to agree with you there Pete53 - perhaps the League could come to some compromise & make a ruling stating that games can't be changed less than 2 weeks in advance unless there are mitigating circumstances such as bad weather?
I know this sounds too logical for the powers that be to sit down & discuss what shd be a simple matter but it would certainly make fans' lives easier, saving them money & a lot of worry @ the same time.

25,0000 Dortmund fans did not attend their home game last night in a protest at the game being moved to Monday night.. that is the only thing that is going to get the powers that be attention. Serious consideration needs to be given to a boycott of all fixtures for an entire weekend in the PL
