Any source for this, or is it crap? Archaeological supposition has proved to be very unreliable. Unlike your trolling.

I wonder if your ancestors were trolling people 10,000 years ago? Or have you been doing it yourself all that time like some tragic version of Highlander?

I prefer not to call it Politcally Correct History so much as Orwellian History, which is very much what it is.

Do try not to be soooooo predictable. This is PC history plain and simple which sounds like total bollocks to me and archaeologists don't exactly have a good record for being accurate do they. They change their minds every couple of years. Hahahaha. Calling me predictable and then coming out with that claptrap? Textbook.

Good point I assume you are referring to Winston Smith in 1984 whose job it was to "literally" rewrite history according to the dictates of his masters. I studied European history to A level in the 1970s. History is rewritten / reflects the current position of society. Facts may not change but their interpretation does. My sister in law is doing a degree in European history I do not recognise the themes she is being taught. For instance the civil war (roundheads versus cavaliers) is now called the war between the three kingdoms. However as my history teacher taught us you can argue anything you like but you have to back it up with facts. Back to Cheddar man whilst it is interesting that he is black if the experts try to argue that all people in Britian were likewise I would argue there is too little information at the moment to make that case.

This whole episode was very revealing. Watching the BBC and select left academics report on this was embarrassing and amusing in turns. It was yet another eager dog whistle for their rampant leftist agenda. They made great play of the irrelevance of an ancient's skin colour. They made projections based on this one modelling which can't be factual.....not a problem if that is made clear...but of course they didn't make that clear. The skin colour is just a detail. What actually matters is the culture and allegiance. If you have large numbers of permanent residents in your country whose allegiance is to a different country.....that's not a good thing. Worse still if they view your country negatively.....those people should leave, whether they are foreign or not. Edited by Stirlingsays (09 Feb 2018 9.20am)
