It was a great tackle and in hindsight I'm glad it ended this way with it being a funny moment. What's not so funny is he fell over as he entered the pitch and the fat t*** couldn't get up for at least 10 seconds. Still not one member of security to be found. But what really annoyed me is the brave steward confronted him one on one and took him down but then had to put up with a good 20 seconds of flailing kicks and punches before his lazy colleagues tried to help him out. Yes, the Steward looked like he could handle himself but had the fat idiot had a knife or simply if the Steward slipped on the wet grass and the fat guy got on top of him and landed a lucky blow, this could have ended really nasty. Those stewards have one job and I've seen them do it successfully time and time again at other grounds, trust Palace to even have the worst inept Stewards to go along with the toilets and burgers. You can posture all you want with your 'extended security searches' before kick off. End of the day if Bin Laden fancies blowing up Selhurst on match day, he'll find it a doddle.

The steward looked like he absolutely loved it to me, and to be fair if anyone was lucky, it's the guy who invaded the pitch. He could easily have done himself a serious injury if he'd landed badly. Not to detract from your wider point, mind.

Steward looked like he had a decent time at a game for once haha. Am a little concerned he had zero backup though.

I'm still unsure if he was Palace or Newcastle. Presumably he would have had his shirt off if he was Toon? Thankfully he kept it on!
It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses. |

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance. |

so I see this alleged geezer didn't turn up in court. I didn't realise that no sports allow alcohol consumption in view of the pitch. I got mashed at a rugby match last year (Scotland Wales) and we all carried several bottles of beer/cider to where we were sitting.

The inconvenience in your life for a football banning order makes most behave themselves. Signing in at the local police station every Saturday, giving your passport in whenever England play abroad, although for tournaments that's not too long. Sean, give yourself in.
