Newcastle playing two strikers and quite an attacking line-up. We could dominate the midfield with McArthur, Luka and Cabaye. I also think it's also a big plus that Slimani didn't make the squad.

We could really do with a win today with the upcoming fixtures, but Benitez like Hodgson is very tactically astute, so it's hard to call. Hopefully that little thug Shelvey gets a red in the first 10.

Our one big plus is we finally have a striker on the bench

From the Isthmian and National League North, straight to the Premier league.
I'm gonna call my glass half full and say that it's because he's just that good.

Just have to win this one and I hope Wilfred and the rest of the team are up to it a lot of difficult games coming up so we need 3 points!

I am always disappointed when Sakho isn't in the team but I suspect he is still getting back to full fitness and maybe Roy felt Kelly was likely to be the quicker player to counteract Gayle who will undoubtedly be going all out to prove a point today.

Some people think football is a matter of life and death. I don't like that attitude. I can assure them it is much more serious than that.

I’d be easing Sakho in gently and give him more time on the training ground. That said I’d prefer him but not to be rushed back.

Too right. Was on the bench against the Spammers, same today. Let's hope for the same performance we had the last time at Selhurst in the Prem league against the Toons. Let's get Alan Shearer's head sweating. COYP !!

Can't understand anyone in the UK who does not have Sky not buying a Day Pass from Now TV, it's only £6-99 which is nothing to watch Palace. Decent picture, no buffering, not behind the actual play. Beats any stream into a cocked hat.

Kenedy also looked a bit lively in their last game so we'll need to keep an eye on him.
