Yes speroni is injured. Scan tomorrow. I think that both speroni and Hennessey will both be leaving. I think Hennessey will be offered a new contract but will move on a free. Unfortunately I think Speroni chance of coach position has gone.

[Link] Crystal Palace chairman is 'very excited' about addition of quality goalkeeper in the summer Nevertheless Steve Parish is very happy to have landed the stopper and believes it is a bit of coup having beaten Watford to the Spaniard's signature. Writing in his programme notes, the Palace chairman said: "We are also very excited that Vicente Guaita will join us in the summer from Getafe.

[Link] Crystal Palace have been dealt yet another injury blow, after Julian Speroni missed Sunday's game with Newcastle United at Selhurst Park. The 38-year-old picked up a knee injury in training on Saturday and was unable to continue, receiving medical treatment at the club's Beckenham training ground.

Yes it seems so as our new(ish) coach is apparently very good, and Henessy also seems better now, also, it looks like Speroni is getting more injury prone now as he gets older. (tell me about it)

How tall is Henry? Some sources say 5'11" which is small. Wikipedia says 1.92m which is substantial. Quite a discrepancy!

Speroni out for 8 weeks. Thought: get a free agent in right now if only to train with the team and expedite his registration WHEN Hennessey injures his knee in training next Tuesday.

I would wait to see Guaita installed before we assume he will come over regardless of what has been signed. Oh, and that's assuming he is not injured between now and the end of the season.
Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance. |
