Does seem bizarre to include players who will definitely not play again this season. What is we get even more injuries and have to sign some free agents and there's only 1 squad place available? Just doesn't make sense.

CPJ you have to list all your under 21 players,then list all your contracted players up to a maximum of 25.
Even if they are injured Dann or not going to play Mutch.

My knickers don't usually get twisted but the number of injured players we've named is really worrying. Some of the fit players are almost as concerning e.g.: Mutch and Delaney (no offence to someone who has performed stalwart service but I really would prefer not to see him play again this season).

I think he means that almost no transfers were made to ensure backups.
Chungy is still backup for side midfielder even though there were players at almost 0 cost (Jairo Samperio went from Mainz to Las Palmas for 350 thousand).
14-15 million will be paid for Sorloth even though Niasse or Andone were available on January 1st for around 13 million (before they started getting runs in their teams and banging them in).
There is still no right back cover for Ward, at least not in the sense of right wingback.
A keeper still wasn't brought in.
