They had 11 on the field that looked pretty decent to me. Yes, deeper squad than ours without a doubt, but we have our own injury issues before and during the match and that is why a point away is not a bad result at all.

Yes I accept we have our injury problems but they did have a plethora of key players out.

I mentioned on HOL that if we failed to get at least a point it would be a very disappointing result.

Still, in the last 14 games, we've only lost to Arsenal. Respect the point.

We won't be happy with just a point against Newcastle on Sunday !

From my perspective this is one hard game and not the "Winnable" game that many are assuming.

I am not deluded that we are better than other relegation candidates.

Above all cannot afford any more injuries.

We have to play out of our skins and be lucky just like the others.

I noticed also that Everton Watford only have a point or two advantage, so that's eleven teams in the mix.

Phew!

With our front line we should've been looking to take the game to the spammers. They are not a bad side even with their injuries but we had a chance to really have a go last night and we looked toothless and more worryingly clueless. A point is ok but means we really HAVE to win in Sunday cos with the three games after that we will very likely be back in the bottom three if we don't. It really is 'pick three from 10' time, but we have as much chance of being one of them as we do staying up. The bookies are usually right,Bet 365 have us as 12/1 to go down unbelievably.I hope to god they're right cos that looks a very good value bet to me (not that's I'd put any money on it obs !).Mr Worried, Colchester.

I simply cannot see Everton under Allardyce being relegated. So they are not "In the mix" as far as I am concerned.

2 defeats in 14, a point away isn’t bad especially as we didn’t play great. Tekkers scoring is a big plus.
I think as a Palace fan I am naturally pessimistic, however our form is decent and if we were supporters of any other team we would be looking up not down.

A point away from home against a rivel is good news.
The fact that early on in the season we did badly against rivals is consigned to history - we can only affect things now and in the future.
I am happy with that point

A point away to any team is a good point at the moment.
It seems that all the teams can beat each other with a bit of luck and its there day.
The relegation fight will go down to the last 2 matches for at least 8 teams ... so not worried at the moment ... I will be worried if we are in the bottom 3 with 2 matches left. Squeaky bum time.

Yes I totally understand your sentiments.

If I wasn't a supporter of our team, I would look at the league table and other factors and wouldn't deem CPFC as the team to go down.

But we are Palace supporters so see things differently - I suspect this is true of supporters of other clubs as well !

8 teams below us . Three points from 9th.
Gained a point on Huddersfield.
Saints or Brighton will lose tonight or only get a point. Same for Watford and Stoke.
Point took us up one place , away from home, respect it.
