One of the players that Pulis sulked about not getting was Steven Caulker.............. where is he now? Supposedly Aladyce wanted Defoe........... not set the world alight at Bournemouth (against us I’ll give you that he had a good game) and now he is injured (I wonder if Bournemouth fans are blaming their medical team?) Armani you’re not a fan of Parish and that’s an opinion you’re entitled to however I’m a massive fan of his and 99% of what he’s done in almost 8 years. Look at what Mike Ashley has done in a similar time or Randy Lerner or Ellis Short or Venkys I could go on!

Well Armani you carry on worrying and moaning about the club. Just because I complain about some things doesn't mean I don't love my club. And for the record, even I don't think we're doing everything wrong. Like you said, Roy's been absolutely incredible for us, with 15 points from as many games. That's why I'm so desperate to keep him - because I know he's capable of turning us into that Premier League force we all know we can be. And for all Parish's faults, if this new stand does go through, I'll give him all the plaudits he deserves. I'd love nothing more than for him to prove me wrong, and I'll always get behind the whole club and hope for the best, even if some things do concern me.

And I'm with you on that last bit, as much as I rag on the guy, I'd take Parish over Ashley or the Venky's any day. At least he's proven over the years he does care, even if he screws up.

As a rule one gets injured then sees the doctor, not the other way around. Unless you're living in some sort of quantum universe in which time goes backwards or something, cause generally precedes effect. HTH.

Well that’s good and for the record we are miles away from being a Premier League Force, but capable of finishing between 8th and 17th each Season.

If the OPs' fatuous argument is based on injuries 'down the years' as he says, then it might be worth pointing out that Palace's medical team has changed more than once over recent years.

I don't think the last two boards have anything to prove to anyone. they own the club. I look at where we were to where we are. In regards to sacking the medical staff, do you actually know who they are, or the work they do day to day? I doubt it. Can you imagine the affect that sacking all the medical staff would have on the team, in terms of morale and the amont of time to recruit and educate new staff. If you had asked, We seem to have a lot of injuries, is it a problem of personel? I could respect that but to say sack them... Did you really think that through? P.S. I think if there is something to complain about some people will always find it.

This highlights our horrendous injury track record even further. We've suffered far too many knockbacks over the past three years, so much so that Roy has rightfully called it the worst injury crisis in all his years as a manager. The fact this has been happening for so long under so many managers proves it isn't a training issue that's causing this. I've said it before and I'll said it again - the medical staff at this club are simply not good enough. Get rid of them and bring our injury team up to Premier League standard as soon as possible because we CANNOT allow this to carry on any further. Edited by TheArmaniCode (18 Jan 2018 11.18pm) Yes we should employ Manchester City’s medical team as they should be the best, oh hang on scrap that I’m talking bollocks Edited by homes (19 Jan 2018 5.10am)

Would the OP also sack West Ham’s medical staff given Andy Carrol is pretty much permanently injured? Or Liverpool’s medical team for failing to keep Sturridge on the pitch?

The treatment they're getting clearly isn't good enough, they need to be aware of the tough tackles they'll be facing and be prepared to cope with them. I'm not saying I agree with how physical the league is, but that's the reality, and the staff need to do their jobs and deal with that. Edited by TheArmaniCode (18 Jan 2018 11.42pm) The treatment for the injuries they don’t yet have clearly isn’t good enough? Eh? “Medical staff” don’t have a magic wand. If there is genuinely more than just bad luck behind it you have to look at if a specific injury is over represented (though footballers will always be over represented for knees and ankles). I think we have a variety of injuries. I remember a few years ago (I think under Pardew) we had loads of hamstring injuries. The odd one is obviously perfectly normal but an epidemic of hamstrings to me suggests an issue with fitness and warm up procedures so more of a coaching issue. Pretty sure sacking the medical staff would not make much difference. Sorting the fixture congestion would likely have more of an impact but doesn’t explain why we’re over represented. My gut is just bad luck.

We all slated him at the time but now it's clear to see he had a point. And Sam clearly left for the exact same reason. Parish didn't want to give him the power he needed, so he left - that's why he showed up at Everton less than six months later with them in the same predicament as us when he took over, after supposedly "retiring". You should get a part in Game of Thrones, coz YOU KNOW NOTHING Every time we've had a chance to stabilise, he's cocked it up. And I'm more terrified than ever he'll do the same a third time because I believe Hodgson's the best of the lot. Granted, I think he's the least likely of the three to leave, but I'm still worried, especially since he's smart enough to know when he's being taken advantage of.
