‘Taboo’ starring Tom Hardy (on BBC1 last year). Probably because I couldn’t understand a single word anyone was whispering. Apart from Jonathan Pryce.
Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes) |

The Northern lass on BBC Breakfast who presents the so-called ‘Business News’ slot, which more often than not covers ‘Personal Finance’ issues such as: switching bank accounts, energy bills, personal debt, cost of childcare, blah blah blah. How can this be? I've always thought of her as the BB 's version of business news in the daily star. Often hasn't a clue what she's talking about.

Why do they call contactless cards "contactless" when you use them by making contact with the reader? Why not call them "contact cards"?

Rubbish bins only collected every fortnight...one week general one week recycling. Round here it's every three weeks. That means I have to take rubbish to the cowp all the time and my car smells like a toilet as a result. Will the council pay fior it to be valeted? Will it f***. Why the Jeff does every cafe, coffee shop and breakfast place in Britain think croissants and pains au chocolat are to be served cold? The last time I got one warm anywhere this side of the Channel was about 1980 when there was a shop called Au Bon Pain in Bromley High St on the corner about opposite C & A. The further north you go the worse it gets and a croissant from Costa in St Vincent St in Glasgow makes an excellent tin opener but is inedible. And why for the love of Mike does the Premier League make it easier to watch football on TV in Antarctica than in its own country FFS?

I also don’t understand why chick peas are not in the ‘beans’ section at Purley Tesco. As far as I am concerned, all pulses should be located in one aisle. However, f***ing Tesco’s has a different idea, which last Saturday, took me thirty f***ing minutes to find the f***ing chick peas, which turned out to be around the corner from the f***ing beans. Perhaps the manager of Purley's Tesco doesn't know what chick peas are? My local Sainsbury has them with the rest of the pulses. Originally posted by matt_himself
Also, there is a bottle of Advocaat behind the bar of my local which has been untouched for around three years. Who would go into a pub and order a nice, lukewarm, vomit textured glass of Advocaat? Perhaps for the old dears that like a snowball before Christmas but the landlord hasn't realised that he doesn't have any old dears as customers
