He plays the Cabaye role there.
Used to be a really good prospect while at Osmanlispor, he's become rather average in the latest years.
Nothing too special. African players are not renowned in the "playmaker" role. I can't remember an African player who did good in that position. You could bring up Yaya Toure, but he wasn't that much about technicality, more about force. Okocha was a long time ago and more advanced.

If RLC leaves in the summer, he could be an option as Cabaye backup.

Here’s a piece on his playing style, appears to be an attacking midfielder. His value seems to have doubled from last summer when the article was written, probably says more about the January transfer market than the player

Newcastle bought an exact duplicate of Ndiaye 1 year ago- his name is Saivet. Haven't heard much about him. Surprised they want to do it again

Isn’t he the lad they bought from a French team then sent back over there for a seasons loan? I think he’s the fella their fans rave about who gifted West Ham a goal then scored a cracker from a free kick over Christmas.

Will this be five? It's gonna be five! It IS five!

I'd wager with you he doesn't.
As long as Crystal Palace extends his contract at the same or higher level,he'll stay in England.

It was talk about leaving last season when he had problems with playing time. This season he has been an undisputed starter.
Small clubs in France don't pay salaries like in the PL. PSG and Monaco don't want 32 year old Cabaye. Only option for a similar salary would remain Marseille.

But that's quite a big if. He has been a mild disappointment as our then marquee signing and is already 32 and showing signs of not being able to last 30 minutes

Of course, Unless RLC signs permanently, midfield is an area we will need to address - assuming we stay up
