Well I think Simon's head is large; always involved in espionage. (Name that tune) |

This it is more likely to be Andros out and Phillips in. Interesting the polarised views on the Twitter link. "Snap their hands off and drive him there" and "No chance he’s our best player"
It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses. |

Phillips on his day can be a real match winner.Goalscoring winger who I believe scored 18 goals a few seasons back. It has been said a while ago that his biggest problem is his belief in his ability. His final product has let him down in the past and he can be a bit hit and miss but he is direct, gets at opponents and has quality.

I hear the term "has quality" used a lot. I'm really not sure what it means. I'd appreciate if you would expand on what "quality" means to you Willo. (Genuinely interested, not after any sort of argument.)

No you raise a fair question. In terms of Phillips I see a player with pace and power and with real ability with ball at his feet.He has scored some spectacular goals and has that ability to score a number of goals from operating out wide.He is right-footed but I have seen him shoot with his left-foot from outside the area so is not afraid to use his "Weaker" foot. As I mentioned in the final past his final product has let him down and he can be a bit hit and miss. Heard him described the other day on the TV as a "Confidence player". Edited by Willo (11 Jan 2018 12.16pm) My old boss has been a season ticket holder at QPR for over 20 years. He is not someone to have a go at players but he thought that Phillips was the most frustrating footballer at QPR and only generally turned it on when playing for a new contract or looking for a move.

I like Phillips... he is a decent player whenever I have seen him play. Would they be willing to sell to their rivals in Jan though is the stumbling block imo

I think the FA cup match showed we need cover for the wingers. Kaikai looked out of his depth and needs to get first team experience elsewhere. Matt Phillips provided price is OK looks a fair player to rotate with Zaha and Townsend
