We are talking about Palace.

To be honest the bottom of the table gives me the s***s.
We've been on a fantastic run and we're only 3 or 4 points from being back in the brown stuff.

We're due a few bad results and have a wafer-thin squad.
Luckily we have a great manager but it looks like this season could go to the last game with everyone up to Everton in the mix.

I'd love a season like Burnley are having instead of year after year of looking over our shoulders or hoping for a miracle.

You fed me, you bred me, I'll remember your name.

Not sure why you and others are getting their knickers in such a twist. I'm just reporting the joyful news that the general consensus on here (even though we're just two points above the relegation zone) is that our premiership survival is cut and dried. Surely a case for celebration.

Perhaps it’s your patronising tone - we may only be 2 points above the relegation zone, but are in a much better position than we were.

Also there is not just positivity on here. Our relegation odds have lengthened from 1-2 to greater than 7-1. Palace are now only 8th favourites to be relegated. Not certain to stay up, but very much on a positive trajectory.

In fairness to the OP he’s probably just being a bit tongue in cheek that according to many we’ve gone from “joke club” to cast iron certainties to stay up and that Pellegrino and Silva are now idiots.

IMO a relatively high number of points will be needed to stay up and we are an injury to Wilf away from serious struggle.

Still think we need to buy some more pace from somewhere.

I've little doubt that life expectancy among Palace supporters has fallen since we were promoted: I'm in this week for my third heart operation.

What fun. At last a jokey post about the roller coaster that is Palace. The usual silly remarks about what's being drunk or inhaled. Even being called patronizing by someone who doesn't know the meaning of the word.
My only reservation about this post is the suggestion to only use one bus and wait a couple of weeks. The way things go with this club i think we should all look to celebrate the smallest encouraging sign of the 'staying up'spring.

I'm sure much of this is being said in jest but Roy has said more than once that when we think our troubles are over that's when our troubles will start. Fortunately I doubt Roy subscribes to the views put forward by the OP.

Why do you think Woy would or should ascribe to the comments of the op? And as for thinking this is anything but a jokey thread....christ

A very odd thread.
If serious it looks like some so called Palace fans don't like that Mr Parish's decision to sack Frank and appoint Roy may actually be the right one and may save us.
Sounds like they would rather have persevered with Frank until we had no chance or appointed some other foreign manager that are struggling at other clubs.
Looks like they would rather see Palace go down than have their opinions proved wrong.
I think after the bad start some people need to understand we should be grateful for the chance we now have to stay up and get behind the club.
If this is a joke thread then it's a whoosh for me and not very funny anyway.

The good news is that when the surgeon cuts you open and sees the words "CRYSTAL PALACE F.C." embossed on your heart he'll know exactly what's wrong with you.

The bad news is that he'll then refer you to neurology.
