Clubs get bumper gates Boxing day and New Year, move it to a tuesday night and they will lose out

I said that the Boxing Day and New Year's fixtures should stay. I'm only suggesting getting rid of the one in the middle which - in many years, as is was this year - occurs on a weekday, workday evening.

We don't do possession; we do defense and attack. Everything else is just wa**ing with a football.

The only problem is that the TV companies now try and spread them out so they can show, at least, one game a day.

This was also a slightly odd year cos of the days Xmas fell on.

Next year will be 22nd, 26th, 29th and 1st Jan. Which no one would mind too much, until they move someone's game from the 22nd to the 23rd or someone's from 26th to 27th/28th etc.

Optimistic as ever

Which will happen in the 2019/20 Season, already agreed by the Premier League Chairmen.
