Funny how the pundits and jouranlists are all over how long Jesus will be out, mention de Bruyne and Puncheon in passing and no mention whatsoever of Dann.

Yes it's the old "big club" bollocks again.

Nikola Tavares, played for Croatia U19s and is 18 playing in the Palace U23s.He could be one for the future.

Speroni would've saved it!

I say keep Jairo in the team alongside Luka, protecting the defence. And have Yohan in front receiving and pulling the strings.

Michael Phillips looked useful in the pre-season friendlies too

We certainly appear to be short of CB again with Dann, Damo and Sakho all out, I guess Jairo is potentially an option at the back too.

with wickham nearing a return, might be interesting to see if we turn our attentions to a defender now, rather than a striker, in the january window. we're down to the bare bones a bit now, defensively.

Is Wickham nearing a return? Takes a couple of games in the reserves and a few appearances off the bench to get up to speed. Wasn't expecting to see him contend until March.

I ain't got nuthin' funny to say. Sorry.

I know, just watching sky sports and they're saying city have injury problems after today's game - no mention of palace injuries.

No he didn’t,Jairo played the Huddersfield game and that was it in defence.
Frank went after 4 games.

Sorry, yes you can't say "kept doing x" when you're talking about de Boer, can you? But I meant that he didn't see him as a midfielder.

Physioroom have him down as available end January but what he'll be like is anyone's guess after an injury like that. Mind you Bolasie came back for Everton from a similar injury the other day and didn't look too bad.

Nothing but nothing about Dann's injury in the media. All about Citeh and how long Jesus will be out for. Despite the furore over the appalling Puncheon tackle, it looks like de Bruyne may only miss one or two matches.
