Even with a two-goal deficit and fifteen minutes left you wouldn't have said we couldn't get a point out of that. A touch more quality and we would have done. Three months ago, 2-1 at home to Arse would have been game over; 3-1 certainly would. Tonight we were 3-1 down with 15 minutes left and a biased ref and we still gave them a distinctly squeaky bum and were one decent ball away from a 3-3 draw.

And a touch more luck.

He's instilled belief. After 4 or 5 games everyone on here just wanted the season over, accept our place in the Championship and start again.

He's got us believing we can stay up and given us more than a fighting chance of doing that.

Add to that his ability to actually answer questions from the press unlike that slimedog Mourinho or the often evasive Pep and Wenger, and you have a man of real integrity.

He has also sidelined players who seemed undroppable - Punch, Hennessey and manages to rotate the squad without having clear favourites.

Every fan from clubs he has managed at have nothing but praise for him - and I can see why.

You fed me, you bred me, I'll remember your name.

He's got a lot going for him, but I worry he's a bit too tactically inflexible at times. He's a bit too wedded to 442 for my liking but he's done enough right so far to outweigh that.

Roy is an old school gentleman and deserves respect, stay up or not. All the other EPL managers hold him in hight regard and we are lucky to have him, cant see him doing a a Fat Sam or Pullis and walking out either

Would you not agree the way he chose WH over Jules was very clever?

Purely on the long balls and kicking accuracy?!

More chance of Dann playing the next match than any agreement from him there.

True.

Objectivity is not Brent's best quality

So impressed with Roy and his team..

Today he made a number of changes...

PVA, Reidewalde, Kelly, Wayne, TFM

And we keep a clean sheet against City!

WTF!

Absolutely buzzing from the fact that's four players many including myself have said are may be not Prem level. Most haven't started a game im weeks...! And boom they've performed against City.

So much for bombing them out, he's adding millions to all their values.

Didn't see the game, can people let me know how each performed?
