I wonder if it would be worth putting a player to man mark De Bruyne wherever he goes on the pitch, much like the Italians did in the 70's? So much of their play and goal scoring opportunities come from him.

Citeh dont like it when you attack their goal. They looked proper nervous for the last 15 minutes.

and Raheem Sterling is a mouthy feck .... i hope our ref gives him a yellow for dissent.

we will have tired legs versue Citeh.
24 hours difference in the rest period.

The ref is Moss, so he will book Wilf for what Sterling says.

As to City's defensive confusion, I think this was born out of Kompany going off injured early and, due to Newcastle's complete lack of attacking ambitions, being replaced with Jesus. Once City didn't turn their ridiculous possession advantage into goals, their makeshift back line became vulnerable when Newcastle smelled some blood in the water - especially so once Gayle came on.

I doubt Pep will make that mistake again (and Kompany is likely to be out of the starting lineup anyway).

We don't do possession; we do defense and attack. Everything else is just wa**ing with a football.

Newcastle V Man City. I managed half an hour on Sky before giving up on the most boring game I've ever seen. Partly Newcastle tactics and set-up but Man City equally boring. Horrible, tedious, slow, square ball primadonnas. Spanish boring football. Pep is the worst thing ever to happen to the Premier League and Jose isn't far behind him. Give me English football. Pace, attack and physicality.
