I think a draw was a fair result.

Zaha wasn't quite on his game - though the backheel to set up the penalty was sublime - and Townsend other than his excellent shot and one ball through to Zaha for a scuffed shot was very quiet

McArthur out wide just doesn't work. Him coming on for Cabaye (when he tires) is best tactic and might have prevented their goal

You can. It's illegal though and only £13 a month or there's one for £50 a year but the quality on that site isn't as good through kodi as it is directly to computer.

I second Rudi's point.

I pay for my streaming (£50 year) and surely under £1 a week isn't that onerous.

It isn't perfect and sometimes lets you down but on the whole the streams from Canada and NBC which show all prem games in HD are pretty damn good.

Compared to this point last season, we are 2pts and one place better off. We also ultimately finished 14th. Been a decent turnaround by Roy, nothing spectacular - although I thought we were pretty damn good against Leicester - but we’re chipping away at the points slowly but surely. I have begun to think we will stay up!

Never forget

Interesting that CPFC are 2pts up bearing in mind the 7 game start they gave every other team.
The transfer window is my concern, as I would hate to lose Wilf to the likes of overgreedy MC. Wilf will be sitting on the bench, to this now great but overfinanced club. Might as well have a 2 tier EPL as the top five think they have automatic rights to plunder and assume a higher authority. Its about time to cap the system, however that wont happen.
Just hope Palace can survive Happy New Year everyone

Another point on the board without a striker playing is fantastic! Keeps us 8? Unbeaten, happy days!

18 points for half this season is a miracle given the first quarter. If 36 points means safety, then we only need to have the same performance to be safe. But we are on the 'up' and getting stronger when others are on a downslide. Thankfully Pardew has gone to WBA and I think his pretence of being a manager is finally at an end - I don't think the WBA players are buying into his usual role as 'genius saviour'. Swansea got rid of too many key players and didn't replace them, so they deserve, and deep down would feel to deserve, to go down. That leave 8 teams with only a win (3 points) between them to fight to avoid 18th place on the table. Our current last quarter season's form exceeds these by a healthy margin (I guess). West Ham are showing some spark, but might go backwards. Stoke look dodgy too. We could possibly go on a bad run, but Roy is continually steadying things and creating a trend and culture that is causing belief. This is not the Palace of 9 weeks ago, that would have capitulated when Swansea got their late equaliser and burst of form. Speroni (and I think Hennessey too) appear to be back to their best form. Even Kelly is looking sharp, Ward too, and the defence looks confident and organised without relying on Sahko - a huge advancement. Ironically, keeping things simple, going back to what each player does best in their best positions, we are arguably playing the attractive type of football that Pardew and FDB wanted, creating slick moves through the middle. Who'd of said 9 weeks ago that we could possibly survive even with no additions in the January window? No, this glass is definitely half full. I just hope that Parish keeps his hands of the wheel this January. Merry Christmas!

My glass is filling up! Based on the number of chances we're creating I expect us to keep scoring, also against to top 6 sides, and at the other end we're looking much more solid. Thank you Roy!

Against Swansea I was expecting a bit more going forward. Somehow we always seem to make the poorer teams look better than they are. But then we didn't have our striker or a decent right back so a point and continuing the unbeaten run was good. Kelly's not good enough. Nearly every time Swansea attacked on his side the cross came in and when he was given the ball he always passed it backwards so no outlet on the right either.

Point gained after the last few games against that lot. When they equalised I feared the worst.
We are only a point worse off than after 25 games last season, great turn around and shows we still have plenty of character even if we lack ability in some areas.
Coyp!!

I too was a disappointed when Swansea gained a draw, but then, on reflection, when I recalled the ridiculous late losses against Burnley & Swansea last season, I decided to trust Roy. A point a game will keep us up after all and draws against Swansea, Brighton & West Brom were all gained away from home. I'd rather be us than West Brom for sure!

I agree, West Brom are being "pardewed"!!

My glass has been half full as a result of an upsurge in fortunes in our recent matches but might return to half empty after the next couple of games.
