If we could sign TFM on a perm deal at sensible money, he would add better-than-Championship-standard depth to our squad in more than one position. He's a bit like Clyne in some ways - not always in great position, but his pace gets him out of a lot of tight spots. He's also pretty good in the tackle. Maybe he's not had enough top-level games to get the positional sense and general nous that someone of Ward's experience has got, but it's very, very likely that he will become a better player than Ward is now.
Well I think Simon's head is large; always involved in espionage. (Name that tune) |

I thought he looked out of his depth against Watford. Easily knocked off the ball.

He's a step up from Joel Ward!

Whilst he has undoubted potential , he has yet to show he is even prem standard from what i've seen.

No chance of getting him on a permanent. Moaninho is on the phone to him every week checking his progress. Be more likely we lose him in Jan than sign him.

His early season form was amazing though. Some really great tackling ability and I recall some high match ratings in some. United are furious he wasn't getting game time due to Wardys form, but then got an excuse when he picked up that injury. Wondering if he might get a last min start for tonights game. Kelly on form though and has Roy's trust, so I doubt it.

We don't do possession; we do defense and attack. Everything else is just wa**ing with a football. |

Early on in the season he impressed me with the way he raced back to get challenges in and he looks pretty good going forward. He's very young for a defender and has lots of ability.
You fed me, you bred me, I'll remember your name. |

Fosu-Mensah going out on 'Loan' and not playing on a regular basis is no good for Man Utd and no good for the player.

Just seen a bunch of stories saying that Mourinho is "furious" about his lack of game time and they want to recall him. Well that seems in order, given that the expectation was that he would be playing de Boer football and de Boer rated him. The only problem with Plan De Boer was that it turned out to be s***e and had to be torn up. Surely if Hodgson doesn't want to use him having come in subsequently that's his decision? It's not his fault the transfer window rules don't let him change his squad for four months after that. In the meantime I suppose we can hope that Mourinho will eventually get himself into such a bate about something that he spontaneously combusts and burns down Old Trafford.
