Self hating? What a load of bollocks. What is it based on. I've seen a lot of references to self hate aimed at people as some kind of argument.

It's pretty simple really and just comes down to basic biology. Males are constantly fertile from puberty to the day we die, can reproduce constantly. Women are fertile for about 3 days every 28 days, carry a baby for 9 months so can only reproduce once a year and can reproduce for about half of their lifespan. All men need is physical attraction, which in terms of basic animal instinct is pretty much anything that resembles some sort of female human. women on the other hand naturally have to look for the best possible protector, provider, strong and healthy gene carrier, ensuring the best possible chance of having a healthy and strong offspring with a male that can also ensure it survives. Women have to be so much more selective, as great as it sounds women having standards as low as men, the human race would be so much more inferior to what it is now. Nature does not reconigse and actually detests equality and fairness.

So some examples, most females are guarded by the alpha male while they're fertile, cuttlefish runts will use camouflage To change their colouring to that of a female, sneak under the alpha and quickly mate before running. Beta beetles will dig their own tunnel leading them to the female, mate and run away. The runt moose while chase the female while the alpha is guarding her and use speed to mate mid sprint before running away. If they included humans they would of used a male championing female rights before befriending them.

Of course it's a form of self hate, they can't compete with other males when it comes to finding a mate. I'm not delusional enough to realise that there are more males out there that are far more physically superior and intelligent than me, hold more traits attracted by females and will get picked before me. I'm programmed to reproduce with the most superior female I can, why would I not hate being able to attract who i want.

1. some animals ( especially birds) are 100% monogamous. It is especially characteristic where the young will be born very vulnerable and needy. 2. For Most animals, the successful alpha male gets a harem, gets all the action and other males get nothing. These males are not involved in the rearing of their young. At 1 day old, many herbivores can already run fast enough to elude predators.
Nevertheless, most women desire a successful one-to-one relationship. This desire is virtually absent in many parts of the animal kingdom. Edited by PalazioVecchio (25 Dec 2017 1.52pm)

In seemingly a gift to this discussion and a counter to Nick's 'what a load of bullocks' Sargon posts a video on Youtube today tackling the very topic of the motives of male feminists. Not all male feminists obviously.....as due to the literal amongst us that has to be pointed out every single time.

Edited by PalazioVecchio (25 Dec 2017 1.52pm) You already explained why tho, as many animals are born being capable of surviving already. Humans are so under developed at birth they rely on both parents to ensure the best possible chance of survival. Basically pretty much everything can be explained by science and biology.
