I believe that Frank de Boer is the best manager to ever have managed in the premier league and commend Swansea to appoint him immediately.

He’s probably had a impressive interview with the Swansea top brass a bit like he did with parish ticking all the right boxes like faith in the youth and money saving schemes things like that

Would it be quicker to list all the Dutch managers who aren't in the frame? (Oranje-boom-boom!)

De Boer has assessed their squad and believes a 2-7-1 formation would be the most suitable for their players. Seriously, get Pulis and you'll stay up... Koeman might be tempting, but how could they even entertain the thought of De Boer in their current situation?

If they get de Boer in they'd better have their transfer strategy sorted out. When he came to us he signed Riedewald, threw his toys around concerning Sakho, then f***ed off in a strop until the window was closed. Edited by chateauferret (22 Dec 2017 12.35am)

There were no obvious positives with de Boer, but given his short time with us it is hard to say how he would manage if given a longer time to settle. Swansea are struggling to score and are defending fairly well, so I don't think Pulis is what is needed, plus he would end up turning them into a boring unit. I liked Bilic and thought he was unlucky at West Ham, but whether he would risk his reputation on a team who have a good chance of going down, I'm not sure. With Bony now out injured the chairman is going to need to make some big transfer promises to lure in a reputable manager. Having said all that, I thought Moyes would fall flat on his ugly face.

If they appoint him in the next 24 hours it is the most nailed on written in the stars defeat from the jaws of victory scenario I can imagine. They’d probably beat us 9-0 playing Total Football on steroids. De Boer will look up to Parish at full time, take his willy out and start windmilling it Dutch style, before lighting up an Amsterdam special as he’s crowd surfed out of the stadium, flicking the Vs at the away fans as he goes. (You become a bit cynical as a Palace fan after a while)
