It’s two days after the Arsenal game. No one else has come close to beating them. Surely we just bung in the youth team and play a 5-5-0?

This one takes the biscuit, As someone said the FA would have something to say about that, And you never know look at the run we ent on last season to get us out of trouble, IMO its a stupid idea

It would be too much to play our best 11 for all 3 games, but as has been said we have squad players, and there's no reason they can't be played. I'd certainly like to see Jairo get a game, maybe Bissaka too? There maybe one or two other youth who might be worth trying to be fair. I think the likes of puncheon are past it, but I'd love him to prove me wrong.

Blimey, Leicester aren't that good but 'yes' we should. Benteke needs a rest. He's walked about three miles every game he's played.

I meant more what Fairweather Eagle said - rest most of the first XI, playing squad players and a couple of youngsters.

Difference compared to Chelsea last year is City on another level and it’s the congested Christmas period.

We said the same thing when we played Chelsea last year and we beat them! Someone has to beat City, everyone else has failed, guess its our job to do it again...

It's actually 3 days after!! That extra day could make all the difference

Personally I think Jordon Mutch is the answer!! The city players will be laughing so much we might actually get in their half a couple of times!!

What type of team we play at the Amex is more important. Really didn't need a draw like that in a competition we are not really bothered about this season. So many games with an unbalanced, thin squad. We can't afford any big player injuries.

Just put 10 men defending and hope for the best. Tony Pulis style.

Play youth players and we could end up with an embarrassing score line, which would shatter confidence not just in the young players but also in the club as a whole.

In the end our injuries may dictate things. Having said that, the one player who I wouldn't mind seeing if Ward and TFM are still out is Bissaka, who was one of the highlights of our brief pre-season. Martin Kelly up against pace and trickery is the stuff of nightmares.

I agree we should rest a few but not playing the youth team. We cannot get beat 10-0 at home.
