Bl00dy hell people it's a main stand for a relegation battler, not Wembley or any other 100,000 purpose built stadium.

The computer generated pictures may make it look like a walk up to an Olympic park but in reality it's half that size and will be full of cars.

In reality the 1st game will either be our 5th or 6th game into the season in either division or vs. a Valencia level foreign club, but that would probably be a half full Selhurst Park.

Brighton. None of us appreciate how massive they are yet. They say they're huge so they must be.

Good suggestion.

By the time our new stadium is built, BHA will have won the Champions League, Chris Hughton will be England Manager as well as day job and Dunk will be England captain. I know this because that's what they believe down here in Sussex.

No one. It would just be embarrassing. We are building one new stand.
The best introduction would be to at least be in the Premier League when it is completed. I'll just be happy to see it get built.

I understand where you are coming from on this issue.

It's not as if we are moving to a brand new purpose built stadium, like the 'Emirates' that was opened by Prince Philip.Yes a massive upgrade for us and very much needed but let's keep it in perspective.

This all just shows that people just don't read stuff and believe what they want.

Yes there is a picture of a shiney spaceship with a Palace badge on it but that is way off.

All we are getting is a stand.

Well essentially yes hence my plea to keep matters in perspective.

However whilst we all accept that the upgrade is much needed and will vastly increase the facilities and look of SP we are not having a brand new stadium built.

Prince Philip won’t be opening our stand, he will be dead by the time it’s completed.
