The trouble with living on the south coast is you have to endure a Brighton love in on the south-east news. Tonight, when asked about the cup drawer, some Brighton official interviews outside the tampax said they were just happy to get a home draw against a small club. T*sser. More worryingly though, he suggested that they may consider reducing Palace’s ticket allowance following last Tuesday.

Good on them, exactly what I would hope any Palace official would state if asked.

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.

Yeah, and Elvis works in my chip shop !

I discovered this morning that Elvis Presley liked Monty Python (as I assume from your HOL name that you do too). I never knew that. I was actually looking up the "Nudge, Nudge" sketch, given that there is another HOL thread going about Purley. I shall "say no more".

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes)
