so why did they leave it so late to go their should of gone the day before and stayed in hotel this is what other clubs do or once train broke down switch to coach. (everyone know public transport is unreliable so you have to factor in worst case backups) i can tell you now if a train breaks down you are no way going to be stuck in that thing without being able to go toilet or have a drink the law suits would be huge and asking someone i know who works on those lines they know how long it takes to fix issues so they would of been informed There was a problem with the power lines between Euston and Watford. Most of the Virgin services were affected from Friday afternoon through yesterday. (I travelled up to Birmingham Friday morning and back yesterday, where I was caught up in it). Just asking...

I think I saw roy Hodgson queuing up to get 22 customer refund forms from Virgin Rail Take it from me, those refund forms take ages to fill in, and they invariably get lost somewhere so you have to fill them in again. Which is harder second time around as you have to dig out the old receipts and photocopy them again then try and remember the dates and the times and the seat numbers. That will keep Woy busy for the whole of January, in which case it will be no surprise if Palace do nothing in the transfer window. The poor bloke won't have time! So the transfer window will be ignored Which is a shame, because We're the Glaziers! Edited by OhthisbloodyPC (03 Dec 2017 12.04pm)

We didn't get to Birmingham until an hour and a half later. Really glad we got the earlier train now - arrived at The Hawthorns around 14:25. If we'd have gotten a later train, we'd have been f***ed.

They should try our away day organisation in my playing days, meeting up outside a newsagents in petts wood, for those who needed fags. Having only had a couple of hours sleep, after a skin full Saturday night. Throwing up in empty crisp packets on the back seats of several cars, trying to get hold of those still in bed or who went straight there and ended up at the wrong ground. Worked for us!!

Just heard roy on sky saying the team left euston for a 90 minute train trip to wba and it took over 5 hours, train broke down with no electric, toilets etc, said it was a bad omen, cant have helped today! On South Eastern Trains, that would be termed a "Luxury express train service", and because it arrived on the day it was scheduled to, there would be no "Delay Repay" option Edited by Forest Hillbilly (03 Dec 2017 4.24pm)

Good. Poor loves on £70k a week now know what normal people have to put up with. They should have been made to get a night bus home from Euston too. I thought that just existed in Harry Potter movies.
