I would genuinely back our starting XI Ina fight against any other prem team! Nothing more abhorrent than Barcelona-esque cheating!
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

It looked to me as though Sakho had the best chance to bring Shaquiri down, but he deliberately pulled back with a gesture of "I'm not going to touch him ref" . Thought Sakho had an odd game to say the least.

Sometimes i think we are, although i think Cabaye has a streak in him... We had a mental toughness and nasty streak when Jedinak was in the side which we never really replaced, so in January perhaps a player of this type would be a welcome addition...

Not easy to find unfortunately. Why Jedi was so special. They’re a dying breed that type of player.

You say that but Cabaye was lucky on Saturday not have picked up a yellow card. Also he could have seen a a red card for his tackle against DeAndre Yedlin in the Newcastle match in October.

We're not that polite, Cabaye is still a pretty horrible little git. He absolutely crunched someone (was amazed it wasn't a free kick) at one point and his time wasting after the goal was superb. Normally Luka is pretty no nonsense, I actually thought he had a fairly poor second half including not bringing Shaqiri down in the build up to that goal, but he made up for it with a couple of good fouls later.
Employee of the month is a good example of how someone can be both a winner and a loser at the same time. |

He would have taken a yellow probably as it couldn't have been called dangerous play. Maybe he thought he was in the area? I can't imagine many other central defenders letting him go through like that without trying to impede him in some way.

Couldn't he just have put his foot on the ball? Still, we did win.
