Punishing Dann and Speroni for last week? Tomkins and Sakho is perhaps our best CB pairing though. Benteke clearly not 100% yet, because if he was, we'd start him regardless!

Speroni is not good enough and Wayne is terrible. Please let's not have any f*** ups again today!!! No striker again but then Benteke isn't very good this season anyway. Gonna be a tough game but could get something if we cut out the stupid mistakes. 6 points is a must today and Tuesday.

Given we only have one available striker it could just be that Roy doesn't want to risk a relapse, especially as we have a game against some other team on Tuesday. He is also making a point that you have to earn the right to start, which is no bad thing.

I'm guessing he doesn't want to change a 'winning' formula. I'm guessing he thinks Zaha and Townsend will be able to punish them with their pace, as I don't think their back 4 are particularly quick. Sakho's captain today, as well. Also worth noting that Shaqiri is playing today.

Had to double take them team line ups and realised pva is on the bench for souare why exactly ? And a bit of a silver lining is at least berahino won’t be scoring his usual goal against us today

Well done Roy. Actually for too long mistakes and just sh1t performances have been rewarded with staying in the team. At some point that culture has to change. It's a pity we could be relegated implementing it but you can't just keep watching it happen having the same 11 until they eventually click together after half a dozen tries at it. It's a bullsh1t disease in our club unfortunately from the Pardew days and usually only having 11 or so good enough to select.

Def harsh on Speroni. He's done nothing wrong apart from one error last week. I for one will be slightly less confident now with Wayne in goal.
Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!! |
