All the more reason to invest as a country in more renewables and r+d. The sooner we get away from carbon fuels the better, not only from an environmental perspective, but also political.

I view engagement with SA as just as important as engagement with China.

SA are more willing to work with the west as we have common enemies.

A lot of China's enemies are western Asians.

Maybe the new Crown Prince will clean things up with his plans to claw back money that been creamed out of system.

Huge opportunity to sell billions worth of arms so I don't see The West not getting involved. By that I mean BAE and the US. Russia will sell to Iran. 300,000 deaths later there will be a truce as arms opportunities wither and the big boys insist on talks.

Free market capitalism. Innit wonderful?

Not to mention the US ramping up fracking to supplement any loss in Oil through a conflict. Also, Tesla shares will go through the roof as people start to increase focus and effort on weaning their economies off of fossil fuels.

I can also see this playing into China's hands re: their huge investment into sustainable power...esp Solar panel production.

Any coming war will be Sino-US.

Russia will take what it wants in the EU and the two main Muslim sects are already in a state of proxy war.

After Putin, I'm hopeful that Russia will come around....Its heart is multi directional but its driving force has a European core.

China....it's hope rather than expectation.

As if they haven't already based very little other than promises.
I guess that you've been long on Lithium, Cobalt and Silver for a while then? Good work.
