This is so frustrating. Their stupid rule doesn’t stop someone going in with a different name. If this was my Uncle instead of my Aunt then he’d be going in with matching tickets that both say ‘Mr’. Seems we literally won’t get in because of the ‘Mrs’ which is a stupid way to punish fans that would never cause trouble in the first place.

If we did cause trouble and start a riot, they can trace it back to my Aunt anyway and ban her for life the feisty cow.

Oh well, I guess take a punt is the only way but would hate to lose 60 quid.

I'd give it a go if I was you. They probably won't check that closely

After this advert I reckon they will be checking now.
Especially Mr and Mrs tickets.
Reckon you should have just tried it without highlighting it.
Then tell us after if it worked.
Only got 2 k to check remember.

I doubt you get many Nora Batty drag acts. Actually looking at the name again, maybe they do.

It's a bit of a long shot, but could you not say that you and your aunt share a season ticket.

If you take her season ticket with you, technically you have a season ticket and match ticket with matching names.

I don't think it's a long shot at all. It's what I would do.

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.

I personally wouldn't worry about it. Can you imagine how long it would take to verify thousands of photo IDs at the gate? Take two season tickets, and I doubt you'll even be asked to flash those. They said all this before the World Cup in 2010, and I bought tickets to the England Germany game from a South African lad with a very African name - needless to say, they checked the ticket, didn't care about ID. It's all just to put people off travelling without tickets on the off chance of picking one up

If you follow the rules then as long as you have the Season Ticket/Membership that matches the name on the ticket its not a problem. No Photo ID is required. To be honest doubt they will bother with the ID and its all nonsence. Mates without tickets got in after being kettled by the Police in Brighton and they didnt want people hanging around the ground so let them in.
Both clubs have gone way over the top on this and if anyone wants a fight they will do it away from the stadium anyway.

They applied the same rules for play off semi final, you needed ID etc, but when we got to the ground literally handed over the match day ticket and that was it, I was with about 10 other fans and no one was ID so I would think you'll be ok.
