If Wilf wants to go at the end of the season then fair enough. Arsenal wouldn't be a bad team to join. About £35/40 mill is probably all we'll get offered anyway so if he wants his big move then we can't blame him. If he played for anyone else then we wouldn't be saying he's worth loads so other teams are not going to bid loads. I think around this price is probably about right in todays market anyway. This is just wrong, every team that plays us, knows they need to stop Wilf as he's simply one of the best players in the league. And that is worth a lot more than £35m. Liverpool signed Oxlade for £35m and he had why six months of his contract left. And Wilf has only just signed a new deal. To say he's only worth £35m is frankly madness.

He may be our best player by far but we have a pretty s*** squad. He's a very good player but can improve. A lot of Palace fans over hype him massively because he stands out so much in our squad. The best players win games. When Wilf can do that then you can call him one of the best players in the league.

IMO everything you've said is flawed sorry. IMO he'd walk in to virtually ever team in the league hence both Arsenal and Tottenham are interested. That means he is one of the best players. Not the best and not in the top ten but still amoungst the best. The best players do win games and sorry but Wilf wins us games. Hence why we were desperate for him to return from injury. I don't know how anyone what ever club you're from could argue different.

In his position, yes, he is one of the best players in the league. If he was at a bigger club he wouldn't always have two players marking him and he wouldn't spend so much of the game in his own half. He has improved year on year and there is no indication that is going to stop within the next two or three years. He has added goals and assists to his game and I, personally, wouldn't sell him for any money. He is the type of player you dream of having in your team. "The best players win games." - Chelsea?
