Really good performance today, So unlucky to be on the losing side with only 4 points, We should of beaten WHU & got something out of the Newcastle game, and again todays game, I like the current set up and the team looked far more balanced today with Fosu-Mensah at the back. Luck has a way of evening itself out over a full season, I really don't think we will go down, And that's despite the mess Parish has got us in

I have read that we are turning the corner so often in the last few weeks that the club must be constantly going in circles.

A boxer can win a minute in every round and still lose every round on the scorecard.

All that matters are points and the excuse of luck and 'outstanding keeper performances' can only last so long.

I'd say the reason we are struggling is due to the lack of a striker, proved yet again today. Played really well, typical that their keeper gets the MOTM award.

Keep the faith, I think we look good.

Unfortunately our keeper never gets MOTM whoever we play there.

In my very humble opinion only Huddersfield, City and Utd have deserved to beat us, yet we only have 4 points. Against, Southampton, West Ham and Spurs only the keeper has saved them, against Swansea we were undone by Kelly and Burnley, Liverpool and Newcastle we more than deserved a draw.
Thing is we only have 4 points and no end of unlucky defeats is gonna change that. We have to find a way to win and it must start in the next game. If we can be within 3 points come the transfer window and please God we act early we have a chance.

Yes things certainly aren’t going our way. But we have to take our chances. Zaha is a great player but has to stick that in the open goal

All of Gazzanigga's saves today were good the best being from Townsend but not of the worldy level. We all know which moment the game really hinged on and knew what was coming after. Ultimately down to quality and composure.

Still don't understand why we don't have one of Ladapo, Kaikai, Lumeka or Lokilo on the bench just to give us another attacking option..

This is my feeling as well. De Boer's appointment was an utter disaster. With a worthless pre-season, confidence drained and Hodgson inheriting a shambles we've been chasing points and snatching at opportunities ever since.

Forget the lack of a striker. Benteke missed big chances against Liverpool, Burnley and Southampton. Puncheon missed from two yards against Southampton and so goes on. We've looked a better side without both but lacked ice in the veins when it was needed. Fine margins.

Benteke missed a sitter vs Liverpool, the other two were brilliantly saved. Dann missed a sitter vs Burnley and Wilf one today. Find the Punch one and watch it again and you'll see how unlucky he was. He actually went to steer it under Forster, but it flicked off Cedric's boot and flew into Forster's nuts. If the keeper saves it I don't call it a miss, I mean Luka didn't miss today, neither did Dann, Wilf did. Fine lines and every one of then has gone against us this season so far. No striker or not we have no goals from anywhere else on the pitch and that is worrying. At least we are creating chances I suppose.

Agreed. Even if you're not sure about them at least one is worth being an option from the bench.

Agree. Can’t do any less than Sako, who looks like Stiverne , the fat bloke that wilder knocked out last night.

Lumeka missed a sitter against Burnley. Lokilo I've seen play twice and he's been rubbish IMO.

Kai Kai is a winger.

Sako is a sick note and a disgrace and presumably only putting in effort as his contract's up at the end of the season.

Responsibility for scoring goals lies with every player but they've been too deliberate and the split second of doubt has been there IMO.
