I've got a song we can sing for him.

"What's that coming over the hill? Is it a w***er? Is it a w***er!?"

Speak as you find. I thought he had a pretty good/fair game yesterday. Better than previous games he's reffed for us.

Well apart from the missed penalty on Zaha , which would have been vital as they scored straight after , and allowing Noble plenty of free kicks and obstructions on our players without a card , not bad.

Seen MOTD highlights and it was not a pen on Zaha at all.

MOTD did not show it in slo-mo or from any other angles. I watched the match on a stream where they did show it from several angles, and he definitely stuck his leg out across Wilf's thigh to send him off balance, from which he stumbled and went down. Bang on penalty according to both commentators and the 2 studio guys.

Is correct , and as said above , probably why MoTD did not show it.

Totally disagree.
Thought it was a penalty when I saw it in 'Real time' and this was proved on TV.
And referee Bobby Madley was very well placed to give it.

Will disagrees with a referee? This has to be a first!

He was fair, but equally s***e for both sides. I thought he had an absolute shocker.

but it was a foul on Zaha so he was never going to give it!

Nay, nay and thrice nay.

I disagreed with the comments that it wasn't a penalty and agreed with the referees decision. In retrospect it appears that I mis-intepreted the post and thought it was a reference to the Ogbonna challenge which resulted, rightfully, in the penalty. Silly me !

Regards the Zaha incident, no penalty for me.

And didn't Madley do well with all that added-on time at the end of the game !

With the sad departure of M*rk C*ntenf*ck, Willo has a new hero in the shape of the wretched Bobby Madley. In the pen incident with Fonte, Wilf tried to jump over Fonte's leg to avoid accusations of diving and being booked, as per C*ntenf*ck in the Watford match last year. Wilf couldn't jump high enough so went down anyway, but Madley didn't give it in on the grounds that it was Wilf who was fouled.

I must admit that I was surprised that Madley gave us the pen in the second half. That too looked marginal but maybe he was evening things up for the Wilf non-pen in the first half.
