Supporters have one place they can let their voices be heard and that is at a football match. It is not as if supporters are abusing players personal lives and families. All that is happening is the that players are being told that this rubbish is not acceptable. Also these very same lads that gave a slight little bit of abuse to Hennessy and co. are the same lads who sang their absolute hearts out for 70 minutes of that match, so how in gods name are they not supporters.

If any other club had put up with what we have over the last few years (minus the Big Sam revival), they would have had truly toxic atmosphere a long time ago. How Pardew’s team barely got a boo still amazes me.

Just summed up the blindness and loser mentality, coupled with lack of knowledge, some of our fans have. God, the HF are as bad. Favouring former players till their last breath over professional managers.

After the 4th goal went in last night, a sizable collection of absolute cvnts in the away end starting singing for Julian Speroni. What the fvck is the matter with you? I'm firmly in the Speroni camp on who should be in goal, but Hennessy has always done his best (he's just not good enough) and deserves all our support when he's picked, as does any player. What good will it do to smash his confidence to pieces? And what if Speroni gets injured, WH plays and drops clangers because of how you have reduced his confidence? Last night he had no chance with any of the goals, and even if he had what would be the point of slagging him? Indulging your pathetic upset feelings at any palace player makes you scum and it will not help us in any way. And if you don't want to help support the lads, then we're much better off without you. Well said. Was ashamed to be a Palace fan when that was going on. Had a semi row/discussion with lads behind me over this. Same with the ‘we’re fcuking sh1t’ chant. We’re there to support our players, even more so when they’re struggling. The treatment of Hennessey was disgusting. None of the goals (on this occasion) were his fault. I’m pro Speroni but Hennessey is also a Palace player. Think about what you’re doing to his confidence next time you come out with this moronic behaviour. What if Speroni gets injured tomorrow and Hennessey has to play one Saturday, he’d be terrified. Well done.

We're 4-1 down to a team in the division below us, and fans aren't allowed to have a bit of banter? Do you think that a chant like that demoralises the players any more than losing 4-1 to a team a tier below, or the talk I'm sure Roy gave them after the game? The Hennessey stuff was bang out of order, though.

Because finishing 10th, almost winning the FA cup final, playing exciting football, scoring loads of goals and never being in the relegation zone was so terrible. At least hes gone now and we are back on track again.

No chance with any of the goals! That's the problem. He has no chance no matter what the opposition is. He is Useless. I have every right to show my anger as I pay for it. If he continues to wear a Palace shirt the support will fall away anyway. My 92 year old mum could have stopped the 3rd goal last night. Skilful as it was it was also straight at The keeper. Fans have every to be angry when they see an over paid pollock putting in zero effort. And that applied across many of the team last night A pollock that spent a lot of time in a net last night ('fishing' the ball out).

If you think conceding 3-5 goals away from home on a regular basis, someone who throws all his eggs in one basket for 3 points every single week, only to come out with zero, thinks clean sheets are nonsense, disregards defensive cover, fitness preparation and defensive training and when he does at the players' request, they have to do it again themselves, is a stable foundation, then that tells me all I need to know. Who at this level has offered or will offer AP or Frank a job? AP had an impact and then when he implemented his own approach it went t1ts up. Frank certainly made an impact.
