It's comforting to Know that the majority of us were disgusted by Pape getting his shirt thrown back, Palace have acquired quite a collection of muppet supporters since we arrived in the promised land, and it's shaming the rest of us. When fit and proper totally agree. At least in the Champs he won't have to sit through the mental agony of seeing the likes of PVA play like last night.

Haven't seen the video. Disgraceful if true. I too haven't seen the video but I can understand the sheer disappointment and anger of supporters who travelled to support their team who from all accounts were absolutely pitiful.

Probably the same idiot who confronted Damien Delaney last season.

Big credit to you for visiting Pape in hospital. As for throwing HIS shirt back - I think it was a c***ish thing to do and lacked class after what he has been through.

Just saw a video of pape trying to give his shirt to the fans only for them to throw it back , wow has it really got that desperate that one nut job does that to a lad who has had a year off due to a car crash and has only featured in two first team games ? Shame on whoever it was surely as fans we are better than this ? Agreed and certainly not the Crystal Palace way. Nobody wants to undertake a difficult journey mid-week to see a dreadful display but to take it out on a decent guy who has put so much effort into playing once again is pathetic. The Board has much to defend for the position that we are in for taking weeks to appoint and then sack a manager who was not a Palace fit and for failing to sign a new keeper and a couple of strikers for the start of the Season.

And I can understand why there are those who take umbrage with the actions of the supporter. How can me being understanding equate to me not being a "Nice person" ? I agree completely, sentiment aside, if we genuinely can get him back to full fitness I'd rather him at LB than PVA & Schlupp every day of the week.

It seems like a genuine action of thanks from Papa and to throw it back in his face, both figuratively and literally, is uncalled for. Toys out of pram springs to mind.
