Don't criticise them too much. They'll all run, crying to Parish again, like they did when FdB said nasty things about them!!

Squad overhaul and football strategy doesn't happen in 2 months with 4 friendlies.

My pre match thoughts were we should be looking at the youth as frankly our 4th place options shouldn't be in the squad and are only stopping others coming through. We need a clear out that has been obvious for a while, however the players who will leave won't be worth anything and will likely have to be paid to go. So thus we won't have the funds for significantly better players than the dross we're gonna have to pay to leave. Only option therefore is to hope some of the kids can come through. Therefore we should be playing them in cup matches to find out which are up to it. Far more important than giving a run out to a player that is past it. I honestly believe Parish is well aware of the clubs situation regarding dross and having to pay players to leave. He started that process in the summer and it'll continue hopefully in Jan and next year. Also I suspect it had a huge bearing on why he took the punt on FdB in the hope he could develope and bring the kids through Ajax style. Didn't work out but it is logical the reason behind it. We have a problem in the league siting at the bottom but the bigger problem has always been the lack of depth due to so many bad players being signed on such expensive deals. We can't move them and afford to replace them all. So the only option is hoping the kids will come good. We have to start playing them in cup games.... was a mistake not to play at least 3 against BC. One defender, one midfielder and a striker. Not gonna bag Roy for it as he's only just got here and said himself he needed to see more of the players in action. Now he has he'll hopefully understand he needs to find solutions from elsewhere. We have to blood some the kids. Absolutely have to... Only other option is selling out two most valuable assists. Zaha and Andros and letting that money rebuild the squad but personally I think it'd be suicide. So we have to start bringing youth through....

we don't need to change much (of what's in our power to change short term). under Roy's tenure we are a point behind where we should be, our team shape is improving week by week, and Zaha is probably almost match fit again. a new goalie in the window wouldn't go amiss.
If you want to live in a world full of kindness, respect and love, try to show these qualities. |

We're a point behind where we should be? Have you lost it? I agree we're improving but this is a massive task because of the points tally and the striker situation so no, just a keeper will not address our problems, which is why I presume Freedman was watching Tosun last week after we fluffed up the deal and he's drifting further away from our reach. And it's more like we can't change much in the short-term because the window is shut, not we don't need to, unless 7 CBs and one striker is the new footballing trend we're setting.

'Goalie' - love it Mr Cholmondley-Warner, but I prefer 'Custodian'.

Unfortunately looking at the video Citeh, Pool, Arse and Chelski were all mentioned

I'd inject the players with monkey semen à la Wolverhampton Wanderers to boost their athleticism.
