Keep it simple 4-4-2 suits the players we have available

I'm old school so keep a winning team.
RLC on the bench.

Worked against Chelsea....forgive me if I'm wrong but I think this season we've been 3-4-3 and then 4-3-3?

4-3-3 was also our terrible 2016

We've been at our best with holding midfield positions, 2015 we were 4-2-3-1....which ain't that far off 4-1-4-1 against Chelsea?

What do you think (sorry for another formation post)?

So who played where in your 4141???

Mate, it was 442 simples

Fair enough, think it was BBC Sport prematch line-up. Surprised we did so well with two up top and a flat midfield... Like rolling back the years where we'd have the jolly Rodger on the wing!

Call it whatever! As long as the players give it all, that's good enough. "Never change a winning team" is a good rule, but there should be an exception come Schlupp & RLC!

You started a thread on formation, based on what the BBC thought pre-match, but didn't actually see the game?

Not tomorrow no - why would you change a winning team?. If anyone underperforms then we have quality on the bench. Who knows it may help RLC to focus and get on the scoresheet when he gets his next chance.

Fair point, but who started right midfield then out of Mcarthur, Cabaye Mili?

Can't of been a regular 4-4-2.

Whatever it was be good to see it in place today!

I thought Jimmy Mac was on the right and Schlupp was on the left. Deffo a 442.

Change nothing! Let them worry about us not vice versa. If we have the same approach and players as the Chelsea game we'll win.

But yes we should stick with that formation unless Super Roy has another rabbit up his sleeve. An unchanged team is a no-brainer.

Is that cos he doesn't wear a hat?
