ZAHA!

This makes me so happy.

Hopefully McArthur can fight his way back into the team and get some more goals. Personally I would have stuck with Sako up front and brought Zaha in for Schlupp, but with this formation we can't go direct so it'll be interesting. My main worry is that Sideshow Bob will target Zaha, as he is in the Fellaini camp of a**eholes.

I'm more optimistic than when we played the Manchester clubs (who are unplayable at the moment), but even without Morata and Kante they have a bloody good team.

Anyway...

ZAHA!!!

Michy Batshuayi starts up front for Chelsea with Álvaro Morata injured, while teenage midfielder Kyle Scott earns a place on the bench. Wilfried Zaha is back in a strikerless Crystal Palace line-up. Not sure what’s Roy up to, there.

Crystal Palace: Speroni; Ward, Dann, Sakho; Van Aanholt, Cabaye, Milivojevic, McArthur, Schlupp; Townsend, Zaha.
Subs: Tomkins, Fosu-Mensah, Kaikai, Sako, Puncheon, Riedewald, Henry.

Chelsea: Courtois; Luiz, Azpilicueta, Cahill; Moses, Fàbregas, Bakayoko, Alonso; Willian, Batshuayi, Hazard.
Subs: Caballero, Rüdiger, Pedro, Musonda, Zappacosta, Christensen, Scott.

Referee: Andre Marriner

Speroni to get a red card and Sako has to sit in goal.

Whether or not we win today, Jules being in goal would put such a smile on faces, just his presence rises people's spirits and morale

It's a plan so cunning it came straight from the Fox University of Cunning in Cunning Town.

According to those geniuses at Sky CPFC have solved their centre-forward problem by signing verteran Man Utd and Fulham striker Louis Zaha.

Haha, I can't remember which match it was but last season the commentator called him Louis.

Bangell - If Camus wrote The Myth of Sisyphus today, it would be about Jason Puncheon eternally trying and failing to pass with his right foot.

I can see a good slagging off for Ward, as the usual suspects for the blame for any defeat regardless, Hennessey and Puncheon aren't starting.
