I blame immigrants for most things, but in the case of Croydon it took a big tumble when Allders closed and they stopped doing their Christmas windows.

I know when I am living in a town planning disaster but just have to make the best of it.

And I suppose all the other places on the list have nothing to do with immigration either.

As an East Croydon resident, I'm very surprised. The introduction of Box Park is huge, there is now a half decent place to go out on the weekends (Spreadeagle deserves a shout), has a great shopping centre and good restaurants - Five Guys recently added, and probably the best transport hub into central London in UK. Most importantly it's 4 minutes to Norwood Junction! There are admittedly too many d1ckheads around, like many places, but easy enough to avoid

My mates from Croydon have tried too convince me it's better now they have a meat liquor burger place that somehow makes it more desirable and the transport links which basically means you can quickly get to better places
