I don't agree with the last bit though. You have to have a series of fair and just appeals that have to be exhausted before the state takes a persons life - Even if we all know they're guilty - Because sometimes they aren't. But the likes of these monsters should be locked up under a media black out. The should never be allowed to talk or communicate with the outside world ever again - For the sake of the victims families (and that should apply to the media). After they've died their names should be erased from history, so that nothing of them remains, except the court documents. No biographies, no films etc. Just a shrine to the victims. As for the expense....that's those blood sucking lawyers. The other month I sent a polite 'there's no excuse' text to that dna guy for OJ Simpson. Whilst I agree that to release his ashes to be scattered on Saddleworth Moor would be insensitive in the extreme, especially to the living relatives of his victims, I would disagree that the judge has any right to ban any form of ceremony or music at the scattering. The man was a vile human being and a despicable abuser and murderer of children - that does put him beyond the normally acceptable rituals that go with cremation and burial - but he was sentenced to life imprisonment for those crimes and served exactly that for his crimes. Therefore, have paid his debt to society in full according to the Law of this land, he has every right to have his remains disposed of with respect, dignity and whatever form of service that he may have indicated as his wish, although it should be carried out with no publicity and possibly no lasting memorial to avoid desecration at a later date.

I don't believe in taking pleasure in suffering. Brady was a product of his genes and environment like anyone else. It's not as though it's a matter of choice. There are Bradys everywhere. Thankfully a tiny number in a population but they exist. All you can do is put a gun to their heads and pull the trigger (once it's proven and known). There's no point in hating them, though I understand why we do. But it's as pointless as hating a shark.
