That little window on Saturday afternoon is when I'm left alone to shout, groan and (once upon a time) cheer. Some games we lose, like at Man City, and it's expected and within an hour of the full-time whistle my mood is fine, but others, like Huddersfield, when we've played poorly and lost against a smaller team, well, then I can be pretty moody for quite a while. I spend plenty of time being Dad and working and doing other little things that occupy our time like leeches, but that little window is mine and when the view is not pretty it's hard not to feel glum. Personally I can't wait for St. Zaha to return.

It does effect my weekends andvi haven't been able to watch match of the day once this season!! Spot on me neither. Bit worrying for me I am checking out what's happening in the championship. I am not waving the white flag just yet though as the rollercoaster will turn again I am sure

Most now would like a steady w,d, and loss ratio to get to 38/40points but that just sounds sooo boring. Rather we did a Leicester. Cut adrift by Xmas and then the miracle begins. That's the Palace way. And not forgetting winning the league to following year......hmmm.

Life's good. Football's a hobby, not life itself. I enjoy going but win, lose or draw has little effect. There's far more things important things to consider and I definitely wouldn't lose sleep over football.

I'm getting the right hump at the games at the moment. I find not engaging in football discussions and trying to blank things out until match day is working for me right now.

It’s the hope that kills you, so now I’ve given up hoping and expect nothing. I used to record MOTD, but don’t bother anymore and I can’t be @rsed to watch the other PL teams. I do watch the Championship though to familiarise myself with the teams that are there.

I am so affected by Palace's success or failure that I usually take it out those closest to me. Help.

ditto on match of the day, which means my ironing doesn't get done (Saturday night ritual - MotD with the ironing board). I get the hump on match day, but then I remember that I have a lovely wife, two fantastic kids, an intellectually challenged dog, and I'm financially secure - I can't be too upset about some blokes kicking a bag of air around. I think it helps that I have reached rock bottom on expectation, so our ineptitude is no longer unexpected I'm trying to get my son into MOTD instead of Peppa Pig and it was hard having to act all excited at the first game last week, our 5-0 drubbing

My offspring are adults now, so less involved there (until they move out and there's DIY to do), but as much as I want to avoid SE25 on home games, something drags me back there to keep punishing me for something. Used to get very moody after a sh*te performance, but now tend to laugh about it (after initial rant) - and as been mentioned in here already, there are many worse off for various reasons.
